I have a brand new composite deck. Does it need to be sealed?Updated 2 years ago
If you have a newer composite deck installed in the last 10 years or so, it probably doesn't need to be sealed. Composite decks from the early 2000's to around 2010 were notorious for absorbing moisture and growing mold. If you have a composite deck that is absorbing water, or showing mold growth, this is a good candidate for DEFY Composite Deck Cleaner and DEFY Composite Deck Sealer.
